Square Enix於2022年4月10日宣布將推出手游新作《王國之心 Missing-Link》，官方表示，本作故事描寫《王國之心》系列空白的時代。玩家將在與現實世界互相連結的地圖展開探索或戰鬥，自由探索遊戲內的世界，收集設置在世界各處的道具「碎片」進行各種強化。
只要帶著手機移動，遊戲將與玩家的行動連結自動進行戰鬥或收集碎片。另外，玩家可以在家中進入世界中的任何一處，遊戲內還加入最多 6 人的多人遊戲等，充滿眾多遊玩要素。
遊戲將在2022年展開部分地區封閉測試。

1. Closed Beta Test Period
The closed beta test will be split into two separate testing periods based on the operating system (OS). The closed beta testing for iOS is scheduled to commence on 29th November, 2023, at 7:00 AM (UTC) and will conclude on 8th December, 2023. The closed beta testing for Android is currently planned for January 2024.
