After a last-minute delay last year, this survival horror revival is now arriving in March 2024. Alone in the Dark should keep the horror train going from last year’s Resident Evil 4 Remake and Alan Wake 2, plus it has some major star power in the form of Jodie Comer and David Harbour.

The latest entry in Sega’s long-running, absolutely bonkers Like a Dragon/Yakuza series sees the action move from the streets of Japan to the beaches of Hawaii. The change of scenery will be nice, but the mix of silliness and heart is what keeps us coming back to the adventures of Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu.

This series of spooky puzzle-platformers has quickly become a cult sensation, and it’s easy to see why. We can’t get enough of the blend of head-scratching puzzles and claymation-esque horrors that look like they’ve stepped out of a Tim Burton movie.

The latest game from the creators of Life is Strange looks to continue that series’ focus on emotional narratives with a tinge of the supernatural. This time, the story seems at least slightly inspired by Stephen King’s It, which sounds pretty fantastic to us.

Similar to the Kingdom Hearts entry above, it feels like we’re probably going to be waiting a long time yet for Persona 6, so here’s hoping that Persona 5: The Phantom X captures some of that magic. This free-to-play mobile spin-off features gacha elements that will turn off some players, but it also has a structure and gameplay very similar to Persona 5 and the direct involvement of many of that game’s developers and writers.

Team Ninja’s latest hardcore action game will see the studio returning to familiar territory, with a ninja- and samurai-heavy tale set during a dark period in Japanese history. Silent Hill F may not actually make it out in 2024, but to be honest, we’re even more excited for this game than the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake. That’s in large part thanks to the involvement of Ryukishi07, the creator of the popular When They Cry series, as the writer of the Silent Hill F.
