As someone who is always on his iPad, I had nostalgia for playing this game because back then, I was playing word search in a newspaper. Now, on a present-day newspaper (the iPad), I get to play this game again. With a stylus, you get the full experience. Like most word search games, each level has a different category of words to search for. The game also has different difficulties — easy, medium, and hard. Increasing the difficulty also increases the number of words in the box. Also, harder and longer words appear on higher difficulties. Words are placed vertically, horizontally, slanted, and reversed. You can play solo, or you can play with a friend in the 2-player mode, where you take turns looking for words. The 2-player mode's turn per player is timed, so it adds pressure and excitement to the game.
