Hey Party players, Happy Monday! 
Last week, we officially launched the preview server here to test future content, such as upcoming heroes, new game modes, and even the controversial combat system that includes an all-new Shield/Dodge/Grab mechanism! In case you missed the details on this, you can read more about the preview server here!
We also prepared the following comparison animations to help everyone understand the adjustments each feature has undergone. For example, we included GIFs to illustrate the change from triple jumps to double jumps (removing the final jump), the addition of an Air Dodge mechanism for aerial evasion, a universal Shield mechanism, and a Grab-and-Throw mechanism.
Previously, Forward Aerial and Back Aerial were triggered using both swipe mode and button modes, which caused significant difficulty in executing aerial attacks. After the version update, aerial attacks can now only be released with the swipe mode, so heroes without an aerial attack setting can finally use neutral, non-directional attacks in midair.
We also optimized other areas where players have provided feedback on. For example, when a target is being forced back onto the platform, he or she can now Air Dodge past the attack. Another is that a target can now utilize the universal Shield to counter the constant spamming of major attacks. 
In addition, players mentioned that it was harder to return to the platform under the new mechanism. This is because we added Air Dodge and removed the third jump as well as the final jump (where the hero jumps to recover after being hit). In this new version, players can try to change up the recovery strategy and use double jump + air dodge to return to the platform. Some heroes can also utilize their mobile shield moves, like S-17 and the upcoming hero!
