I don’t see anything wrong with camping. I main Search and Destroy in ranked and I’m a few games away from Legendary. Unless we’re versing absolute potatoes or bots, I camp a lot. Sometimes in my spawn, sometimes in other parts of the map. I’m 1st or 2nd place almost every game. If the other team has the bomb, why would I rush to them and risk dying? I’d rather stay near the bombs and wait for them to come.
I got this game a little over a month ago and I don’t think I’m good enough to rush out to the enemy spawn the way some players do. I prefer to sit back, controlled, and let them come to me / rush me.
I have the advantage, and I get more kills. In any competitive game, you should exploit anything at your disposal (not bugs/glitches) to win, including camping, hard scoping, or meta guns if you want.
Any of you that go on the chat and start blasting away at the other team for camping need to get a life. Usually those that get mad are the ones that got killed by a camper. And if camping is what got that person the kill, why would they stop? “Hey stop camping, please make it easier to kill you” is basically what you’re saying.
Edit: I don’t camp in one spot the entire game, I rotate around to both keep an eye on teammates and adapt to how the enemies have been rushing towards our spawn

Yes, I remember my first real experience with campers. Halo 2 had just been released and had a new online multiplayer mode via Xbox Live. It was all the rage on campus. In fact, my dorm would have floor competitions, and entire weekends were spent inside in glorious online combat!

This game is amazing ..... As long as you don't get downed... I think face camping is dumb but that is literally all every killer does... And to a point I kinda get it cause as a killer main who doesn't camp I'm very lucky to get a win or even 2k

I'm seriously reaching my end with this game. Honestly. I can't take all the Spawn 'raping' as they call it. It's another thing to be there when you were passing by in search of your opponents, but to actually camp there? Seriously? And the sad thing is nothing is being done about it.
This is supposed to be a competitive shooting game not a ground for those who are so scared of losing that they resort to unsportsmanlike bullying tactics. It's literally killing the game for those trying to have a fair skill to skill show down.

All of that sounded like, "Excuses for why I play with zero sportsmanship or competitive spirit and go against the spirit of the game in order to pad my stats without getting better... I'm lame." Campers suck. It's why they're so hated. That's all.
