Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is a new action-packed game available on both Steam for PC and consoles. The price tag is $59.99 USD With Planned DLC that will cost additional money. The game has a great story with some nice cut scenes. The story is worth listening to instead of just skipping like most games. After the initial cutscene you are met with one of the most detailed character creations I have ever seen. Giving you complete control over every single facial detail and body detail. You can choose either male or female gender and even identify as "other". The gameplay immediately feels Dark Souls like with the hard difficulty of enemies and the RPG elements involved.

The game does A good job at the start with a decent tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanics of the game. The first problem I ran into was Just not knowing where I needed to go to next. There was no clear indication which left me wandering aimlessly trying to figure out where to go and what to do. The second problem is the graphics just didn't feel as crisp and clean as I expected. In the graphical settings the FPS was capped at 60 despite the fact that my monitor supports 165 FPS and running on a 4090 GPU. Maybe it's because I was playing the demo version, but I don't know exactly why.

The battles are action packed and bloody. There are tons of different stats to increase and manipulate throughout your journey. Many different spells for different elements, along with melee weapons and ranged weapons. Specific skills that you can increase to build out your character for whatever playstyle you prefer. Overall, I think it's a nice game but don't think it's worth the 60-dollar cost. If you're a big fan of the dark soul's franchise, you will most likely enjoy this as it has many similar features but at a faster pace.
