Here comes our final part, thank you for having watched my post so far..
1. Zigzagoon / Raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides)
This enchanting character is inspired by a delightfully adorable member of the canid family, the Japanese raccoon dog. Native to Japan, they share a close kinship with the common raccoon dog (N. procyonoides) and have a more distant relation to foxes (as opposed to raccoons, which belong to the Procyonidae family). Also known as tanuki, raccoon dogs hold significant significance in Japanese folklore. They feature in tales as mischievous tricksters, capable of effortless shape-shifting, including transforming into humans, and even captivating with their melodic songs.
Tragically, Sunda Pangolins are hunted for their skin, scales, and meat, which are sought after for both fashion and traditional medicinal purposes.
2.Gorebyss/ Long-Nosed Chimaera (Rhinochimaerida family)
Officially, this aquatic Pokémon is believed to be inspired by the snipe eel - a remarkably slender eel with beak-like jaws resembling a snipe. However, in our opinion, it bears a striking resemblance to the Long-Nosed Chimaera. This group of cartilaginous fish inhabits temperate and tropical seas across the globe. They are occasionally referred to as spookfish, a fitting name considering their eerie appearance and their deep-sea dwelling in dark depths.
3.Stunfisk / Stargazer (Uranoscopidae family)
While Stunfisk may appear slightly cuter than its intimidating real-life counterpart, with its bug-like eyes and upward-facing mouth, it does share a resemblance to the Stargazer fish. Stargazers belong to a family comprising approximately 51 distinct species, all characterized by their eyes located on the tops of their heads. These fish camouflage themselves in the sand on the ocean floor and swiftly leap upwards to capture passing prey. Their skyward-facing eyes prove to be advantageous in this hunting technique. However, unlike Stunfisk, they lack the ability to electrify their prey with a powerful blast of electricity.
4.Rattata/ Bennett's chinchilla rat (Abrocoma bennettii)
Undoubtedly, this Pokémon draws inspiration from a rodent, and its distinctive ears bear a striking resemblance to that of a chinchilla rat. Chinchilla rats belong to the Abrocomidae family, a small group of rodents encompassing just nine known species. These creatures inhabit tunnels in the Andes mountains and subsist on a diet comprising seeds, fruits, and nuts. Interestingly, this specific species is exclusive to Chile and holds the distinction of being the largest within its family.
5.Rhydon/ Javan Rhinocerous (Rhinoceros sondaicus)
With its horn, bipedal gait, and thick tail, Rhydon seems to embody a fusion of a rhinoceros and a dinosaur. We can't help but notice its striking resemblance to a specific species of rhino, the Javan Rhinoceros. Just like Rhydon, this rhino sports a solitary horn and possesses a robust, armor-like skin. Unfortunately, it is also one of the world's most endangered animals, with fewer than 100 individuals remaining, primarily due to the devastating impact of horn poaching..
