So, the game takes place 20 years after the events of the anime, as we can see Destiny has significantly matured from her anime counterpart. The anime was an okish watch, but it stumbled with the rushed ending.
The game is fully voice acted which is a plus in my books. The voice acting is pretty solid as expected from such a series.
The story has us wake up as Takt with his memories forgotten obviously, but still is a great conductor. We're introduced to some new characters that weren't in the game, and I have to say I am really enjoying the designs of the characters so far. So, far the story seems good mostly due to the fun personalities introduced early on, but I don't expect this to be a mind boogling good story.
The game adopts a certain chibi style both infight and outside roaming.
You have a joy stick to move around it's smooth, but I did have one crash very early on in the game. The total game size is around 6gb.
Let's talk more about the gameplay it's a simple turned based style as expected from gacha games. The animations are very smooth and nice and obviously the score(music) of the game is amazing as one would expect from Takt Op. You have Magus (magic dealer class) Restorer( healer) 3 Physical classes Gunner, blade and I can't remember the third one I think it's shielder.
Character level up screen. As mentioned previously the design choice is amazing for the characters and the game aesthetic.
The gacha and summoning screens are pretty nice as well. Each Musicart is introduced with a theme(score) of their own. The game initially gives you 50 pulls once you're done with the tutorial stage. Out of which 20 will go into your guaranteed 3* beginner banner. The rest you can save or spend on the current event banners.
Overview of the game so far is a good solid experience for anyone interested in Takt Op world. Obviously with the caveats such as poor optimization right now, crashes and other glitches, but it should get better hopefully, since it seems like a high budget gacha game.
As always I hope you found this review helpful, and I personally think it's worth trying out if you're looking for something new.
