Cat Fantasy - A CAT GIRL Lovers FANTASY!

Cat Fantasy is out now in an Early Access Beta for mobile devices, and is opening OFFICIALLY in the SEA Region including (Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines) on October 31st 2023. and I was able to give it a try, and this game is for the most part, really cool. But there is some things that I hope will be fixed before it officially launches.

In terms of the story, it does seem pretty interesting. You start off having a dream about the end of Catto City, and this end will come in 136 days from the start of the game. In that time you have to try and solve the reason for this future ending, and try to prevent it.

In the mean time, you will also help out in the cafe and go on investigations to solve the reasons for all the bad things going on in the city. As for the gameplay I was quite surprised to find out that when you are in the cinematics, and story content, it's all done in a first person perspective.

You actually see your hands when you go to open the cafe door, or to look at your phone. It's a very interesting perspective for a gacha collector game, and I personally really like it. The combat reminds me a bit of Reverse 1999 in the card battle system, you can pair up doubles of a card in order to upgrade them, though you can't drag them together like in Reverse 1999, in this game you have to just use the cards next to the doubles in order to bring the doubles next to one another, then they will upgrade.

I also love how the combat scenarios are all in 3D. With the character models being in 3D and having cool combat effects, and including a nice ultimate skill animation when you cast the card for it.

As for the visuals, they were absolutely gorgeous. I love all the character models, they all look highly detailed and in a gorgeous anime style 3D style. It all looks highly detailed and I was very impressed with the visual style of the game. The audio is where I was surprisingly not as impressed with.

Which was a shame, especially since the game actually tells you to wear your headphones for a better experience. So naturally if you tell me that, I will be paying attention to the audio.

And I found the audio to be unbalanced at times, and the music would abruptly cut off between scenes, and it would all seem very jarring. Not to mention there is no voice overs and in some moments there was even some missing combat audio too.

Of course I can forgive the game for now, since it is in a early access beta, but I hope that they do fix the audio because at the moment it doesn't feel like it's worth listening to with headphones.

Though the music is very good. I did enjoy the music. Overall I'd say that Cat Fantasy has huge potential to be a really fun gacha collector game with some stunning character designs, especially if you're a lover of cat girls. If you love cat girls, then this is definitely a game you should be looking out for.

Even with the audio issues, I still found myself really enjoying this game. I do think it could do with voice overs though It would just make this game so much better if you ask me. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for when this fully releases because I will be playing this for sure.
