This game is nothing short of a masterpiece.
I’ll try to avoid spoilers as best as I can, but let’s dive into this one.
Phigros is another mobile rhythm game and it’s chaos. I mean it. Throw everything you know about a rhythm game out the window and relearn how to play a damn game with Phigros! Okay, but seriously, this game takes some getting used to.
For starters, this game is hard. Really hard. But it’s also great for beginners! While there’s really only 4 difficulties (no spoilers on the secret 5th one) and 16? difficulty levels (again, no spoilers), each chart has a unique thing that caters to its own audience and it’s own gimmick!
The game at its core, is a line hit line game, where you tap the note when it hits the judgement line. The only problem? The notes and the judgement line can move. Watch the notes and line fling around the screen while you desperately try to tap around, hehe.
There are 4 notes which are basically perfect for the game. Taps, Holds, Drags, and Flicks.
While I won’t get into it, Flicks being just Flicks and not Tap Flicks is an amazing choice. You’ll see what I mean once you get to the harder stages.
Not to mention, this game is so visually appealing. Yes, there’s only 4 notes and 1 line you can work with, but some of these charts are astonishing. Play the Camellia charts, especially Dance with Silence. So damn good.
Let’s not even talk about chapter 8. You’ll need to explore that one on your own.
So, if you’re looking for a challenging rhythm game, or a quick one to play on the go (because yes, this ENTIRE game is offline!), then Phigros will scratch that itch for you! Just don’t uhhh… don’t blame me if you get extremely mad trying to get your RKS up.
No tap flick until Gausbon come with Protoflicker
