For me Metal Slug has always been a very simple game, you pick a character, jump into mission and start shooting anything that move with a pistol while evading enemy projectile plus 1 hit and you're dead. Metal Slug: Awakening however doesn't follow that rule anymore, Character now has: HP bar. (Medkit spawn constantly during mission btw) Equipment for stats boost that need Upgrade. Reloadable Fully automatic Machine Gun, Bazooka and Shotgun that also need Upgrade. (Where's my starter Pistol SNK?)
