Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. While Microsoft and Playground Games have continued expanding the Forza Horizon spin-off series, Turn 10 Studios is back with a proper Forza entry for the first time since 2017's Forza Motorsport 7. Titled simply Forza Motorsport, goes back to racing sim basics, with over five hundred vehicles, incredibly realistic car damage and physics simulations, and eye-popping ray tracing to bring the visuals to an even higher level.
To go along with that focus on bringing everything to the next level, this is also the first Forza game (including 2021's Forza Horizon 5) that will only be available on next-gen platforms—specifically, the Xbox Series X and S consoles, and beefed-up PCs. Of course, Forza Motorsport will also be facing some intense competition in the forms of EA Sports WRC and The Crew Motorfest, although neither of those are quite as traditional racing sims.
If you're eager to jump back into the wheel-gripping realism of Forza Motorsport for the first time in five-plus years, you don't have to wait much longer. The game officially launches of Xbox Series consoles and PC on October 10, 2023, and it will be included on Xbox Game Pass as well.
However, if you'd like to play a little early, you can actually start now...for a price. Players who dole out for the $99.99 Premium Edition of the game can begin playing right now. The Premium Edition also comes with a special "welcome pack," a VIP membership that grants a permanent boost to credits earned, and multiple DLC passes for future new car packs.
If you're not Forza Motorsport is for you yet, stay tuned. One of TapTap's editors is testing the game now, and we'll be sharing our impressions early next week, just in time for the launch.
Put It On Download Right now Maybe Gonna Play It Tomorrow 😁
