The domestic system of “Sanguo’s Ambition 4: Three Kingdoms” is mainly composed of city construction, labor force, and city prosperity, which interact with each other.
Labor force: A key resource in the game, provided by the city. Almost all domestic-related work in the game requires labor to execute.
Prosperity and City Scale: In the game, the city scale is divided into five levels: town, county, prefecture, state, and royal city. The higher the level, the more resource output bonus the city brings to the surrounding buildings. Players need to unlock the corresponding level of city scale by obtaining prosperity points and develop the city’s prosperity to a certain value. The city will automatically upgrade to the next scale to improve overall resource output and provide more labor.
City Construction: The cities in the game are divided into two types: main cities and sub-cities. The main cities generally have more construction areas, while sub-cities have relatively fewer construction areas. Each construction area can build buildings to provide different effects for city development.
The current version of the game has five common buildings and nine special buildings. Among them, special buildings are randomly distributed on some cities in each game. Main cities must have a special building, and each city can only build one.
Common buildings can be upgraded, up to level 5. Special buildings cannot be upgraded, and they consume more copper coins to build and take longer time.

Among them, grain output is enhanced by technology (centralized tax collection, ridge farming law) and policy (promote water conservancy).
Barracks

Increase the reserve limit of this city. Each city’s reserves will automatically increase over time until it reaches its limit and stops recruiting.
Arrow Tower

Increase the durability of this city’s walls and the attack power of arrow towers. When the durability of a city drops to zero, it is considered breached. This durability is enhanced by policy (strengthen walls). At the beginning of each round of battle, arrow towers will attack enemy troops once. This attack power is enhanced by policy (strengthen arrow towers), while policy (strengthen defense) can reduce arrow tower damage.

As this game is a real-time strategy confrontation game, the overall domestic+ farming system belongs to a simplified design as much as possible. When a city has built full buildings, as long as there are generals stationed in the city, you can consume 1 point of labor to delegate construction to the city. The general will automatically build the city without spending copper coins, so that players’ attention during gameplay can be more focused on arranging troops.
