The game features a turn-based card battling RPG which has players control a team of Arcanists, each with their own unique spells as they battle against the paranormal beings that have emerged from the storm. The story of Reverse:1999 takes place in a world where both humans and Arcanists live peacefully together. The player takes on the role of the Timekeeper, Vertin, a member of St. Pavlov Foundation. Timekeeper is the only person who remains intact in the “Storm” that reverses the flow of time and ends a whole era.
