Q:So in the SS2 Preseason, the first skill triggers every few meters.  Which sounds like an auto-summoning ability for Charge Moto, which is what my YouTube channel is known for.However, due to the way in which summoning and minions triggering the need to go explode, it feels VERY bad.
Would it be possible, to have the mechanic of Self Destruct changed, to restrict summoning of new minions until Self Destruct has been initiated, otherwise going fast is detrimental to your character's power.  And speed is what makes Torchlight Infinite fun.
Considering Iris and a lot of other classes, having a cap of minions summoned and being able to just blaze around the map and have minions trailing you, self-destructing.  Would be one hell of a fun playstyle.

A:We've made some adjustments, but admittedly, the results aren't as ideal as we hoped. Your suggestion is very reasonable, and we'll see if we can optimize this in the future. Thanks for the feedback.

Q:Blink Bow will multi-hit like Sparkle but not told, is this by design?
A:All Horizontal Projectiles will On Hit the same Enemy Count at intervals of 0.25 seconds, as long as the Projectile hasn't disappeared. This info can be looked up in the Help section in the future.

Q:Can we have more ways to get reduction mods?  Like: area size, proj speed...Some skills are better with it, but we just lack of these mods
A:Indeed, these can create some interesting Gameplay, and we will consider gradually incorporating them.

Q:When decrypting PoB exclusive gem memories, do all the gems have the same chance to be obtained, or are they weighed?
A:In Path of the Brave, the Exclusive Fluorescent Memory Shards contain Antonius's Help of equal Weight, while Antonius' Research has unequal Weight.

Q:Marked Enemy +40% Crit Dmg taken,it said "taken", is it  just +40% crit dmg to character or 1.4x the crit dmg?
The Brave's Talent - JudgmentAdditional 40% Crit Dmg to Paralyzed Enemy, so it is 1.4x?
Is Additional Crit Dmg really a thing?  or just miss written?  Since it is very rare
A:Both are at 1.4 times.

Q:Not talking about the low-level items, but there are some high-level Legends that are useless, any plan to remake?Imperial General)There are only 2 barrage skills so far, Inexhaustible Barrage & Blizzard, one is limited to guns, another one is a spell mostly for reducing enemy res. No place to use.
Startled Birds)The affixes look fun but attack parabolic skill for bow, the only available skill is Thunderbolt overload with Mind Blade talent, doesn't look good.
Shackles of Evil)Low dps, won't be a main weapon, the only skill that fits it is Hammer of Ash, and Dex doesn't fit this skill since there is an in-built fire conversion.
These hi-level gears are always precious and legendary but don't seem worthy.

Q:When will the new season of Torchlight Infinite come out?
A:We will announce our Season start time and Season preview date on 12.14. Stay tuned!

Q:After 3 seasons of leveling experience enhancement, I think we all can instantly kill Liv, but still need waves of monster generating and the animation.  Could it shorten or reduce the waves?  Also the animation of this map, setting up the bridge, why is it unskippable.
A:Future versions will have plans to limit the waves of monsters summoned by LivSummon. However, to ensure performance and version Stability, the next Season will maintain the current state. But the long-complained-about bridge opening animation Skip will no longer be an issue in the next Season's update.

Q:RoG Carino takes attack speed and cast speed to special ammo reload chance, does mods like “as & cs for channeled skill” and supports that grants “as & cs to supporting skill” be accounted for?
A:This won't happen because Bonuses to skills do not affect CharacterStats. If the conversion is related to skill Stats and the description matches, then it will be taken into account.

Q:Critical Strike Damage Increase support grants additional damage on crit, and it only mentioned "damage" but it won't affect the ailments damage.  Custom service said it is by design.  Could it be more clear by changing it to "hit damage"?  Since there are some "+ aliment damage on crit" mods, and those don't fit with this support.
A:Logically speaking, +Ailment Damage during a Critical Strike means that Ailment Damage is increased during a Critical Strike, which is unrelated to On Hit Damage and Critical Strike Damage, so it not being effective is reasonable. If this has caused some confusion, we will consider optimizing the description to make it easier to understand accurately.

Q:What is the reason TLI has" regain" instead of "restore on hit " or "leech "?  Are they too strong?It is not difficult to reach max % regain but still need to invest lots of "regain interval" to make it more stable and better with double regain.  Also it is based on missing Life/ES which means u also need to invest on other defenses to avoid instant kill.  "Restore on regain" and "turns regain to regen" are both core talents under Druid, which is not fitting with attack builds.  So regain are too weak against DoT damage by default, rather to have high regen instead of regain.  since you can't regain it without a hit.  Is There any plan to buff it ?
A:On Hit Restoration is difficult to balance in terms of strength. We never managed to design a vampiric mechanism that was both reasonably strong and easy to understand, so we ultimately designed the return mechanism instead.We believe the operation of the return itself isn't too bad currently, but the Druid's two major Talents are indeed weak, and we will consider strengthening them.As for Damage Over Time, that's the current situation, and if we have good ideas in the future, we will also design related mechanisms.

Q:1) Do vertical projectiles take the max buff of Rapid Shots?  Since it starts from the sky.
2) Do vertical projectile colliders affected by area size?  I mean the hitbox of a single projectile, not the dropping area.
A:1. Yes.
2. It depends on the skill. For example, with Marked Rain of Arrows, the Explosions that occur upon impact are affected, but Rain of Arrows itself is not, because only the Projectiles' descent is affected.

Q:How does Focused Strike interact with Vertical Skills?  Taking the dropping area or the projectile collider area?
A:It's the Projectile's hitbox area.

Q:“Adds skill damage to aliments base damage”Does this mod accounting add damage to the skill?If not, do these mods only work for spells?  Since attack skill has no base damage on skill."
A:No, this Affix only adds the skill's own Damage to Ailment Damage.
Q:x% additional damage for skills cast by Spell Burst'', does the skill cast by self count as "skill cast by spell burst"?  If not, do "-x% additional damage for skills that are not cast by Spell Burst'' also affect this cast?
A:This Affix is mainly applied to skills released in the form of Spell Burst, so any skill released as a Spell Burst can benefit from this Affix.

Q:If I am not wrong, "Critical Strike Rating" means both Attack and Spell when it didn't mentioned.All the weapon bases have ""Critical Strike Rating"" , does it mean spell base crit rating equals this too?
A:Spells and Weapons' base Stats are unrelated, and a Spell's base Critical Strike Chance is not the same as a Weapon's Critical Strike Rating.

Q:If I have 2 same mods “A also apply to B” from different sources , does it just double the A value to B? Or is there any limit like it wont exceed 100% of A?
A:Currently, it's a direct Bonus without restrictions. For example, if there are two instances of 100% A applicable to B, then B will receive 200% of A's effect, with no Upper limit.

Crows Corner Community FAQ Q:  When hardcore mode is coming to Torchlight?  What changes to the game's system are needed for that? A:The hardcore mode won't be in the game for a while, but we'll continue to develop new contents and gameplays to the players. Q:  My Thunder Spirit has around 170k HP and takes about 40k-50k dmg per second,the Guard has 20K+ and takes around 2.5k-3k dmg per second. I try to use Prayer but can't sustain that. Eventually the minion dies and the Spirit Reconjuring,but it constantly takes that dmg and can attack so I have to deactivate/activate,annoying. Is this penalty for minions in the new season?*Did Path of the Brave update some kind of dmg type or mechanic that I'm unaware of?

July 5 Crows Corner FAQ Q: Can indicators be added for normal monsters on the minimap? It's great to have the red/pink dots for cube/surge mobs.  Having dots, perhaps gray, for normal monsters will really help us plot our courses and minimize surprises. Q: Allow for Elemental Damage to generate Fusion Energy vs it being elemental skills that generate Fusion Energy.  You could make the required amount of fusion energy needed to trigger the hero trait higher, or reduce the amount of damage boosts it gives to compensate
