New update 0.4.6 has dropped in Steam and with it some very important fixes and improvements. Here is a summary of the recent changes:
- Fixed a bug that was crashing some players in the loading screen, due to the game simulation detecting an incorrect amount of CPU cores.
- Fixed an issue where a crash occurred due to players falling through the world.
- Fixed an issue where game entities would accumulate in memory, so this should improve performance.
- Reduced GPU memory use and performed rendering optimizations, so the game runs much smoother on lower to mid end PCs.
- Fixed a crash issue while exiting the game.
- Added a health tracker for other players in co-op sessions.
- Resolved some standing issues with the tracking of Achievements, now they should reflect properly your progress.
- Improved navigation of enemies in Desert stage, so they can follow the player better.

This update has finally showed the community some hope. After playing an odd 10 games here and there it just feels way better with many fixes being done and improving the menu.
A MAJOR CHANGE!:
One shot head shot has been enabled if you are within the optimal range, Increased headshot damaged from 2.5x to 6x, Reduced penetration damage from 60% to 30. I'm glad this change was brought around it's bringing us close to the real competitive side of rainbow six siege on pc and console. Ranked leaderboard has been added which is even better making this game more competitive and I can tell that the community including me is hyped as I used to be a concurrent top5k codm up until 2 seasons ago.

3.4.3 Is out!! a Lil taste of optimization and get ready for S3 reloaded on May 1
With this brand new mini patch we get some relief from annoying ping lag (almost fixed for me if not for all) and some more clear graphic, so Happy they working hard for the game
Also lets wait for the big 1 May update, finally downloading assets Will come instead of downloading graphics while playing, a big move imo.
Cant wait for the S3 reloaded, also Hope for a big gun fixes as bug side 🥳

New update is actually pretty fun. finally added in an unranked mode , so I can just enjoy the game and grind the RP instead of tryharding in a lobby full of sweats . New settings were also added , my favorite one shows the direction sound is coming from in the middle of the screen , instead of on just the mini - map . One small issue though is that you can't queue for multiple Battle Royale maps at once anymore . Overall though , pretty good update .
