Great solo experience! It's a very challenging side-scroller shooter rpg clearly inspired by Fallout. I gotta say the scraptown christmas event theme is absolute 🔥
👍 Pros:
-Great story that may be affected by your actions. For example: I wasn't quick enough to save my townfolks because there was a timer, so they all died but one that I had to choose.
-Challenging combat that requires some tactics and prep
-Fun weapons/weapon abilities
-Lots of loot so you always discover new special abilities and stat bonuses
-The music is pretty good, especially this christmas event's junktown theme
👎 Cons:
-Merchant selling/buying prices are absurdly high unless you spend a lot of skill points in charisma and use "(-%)merchant selling/buying price" gear.
-You gotta save OFTEN but there is a setting to autosave after every fight.(I dont use it because I always end up wasting my ammo on the wrong enemies
-RNG may pit you against 5 legendary foes while it could also give you common cockroaches while reloading to last save after dying; so if you lose a legendary gear, it wont come back.
-No "Buy back" option at merchants
-Absolutely no way to sort your inventory or scraptown safe and that is really disturbing my ADHD and ability to quickly swap gear
-early shotguns and snipers are awful so you better stick with single pistols(not dual because they drain ammo) and slow firing riflles like the m1a1, garand or the AK
To conclude, I think it's a great experience overall but it's got some issues. Nothing drastic, just little tweaks to make the experience smoother. I also would LOVE to see a 2-player coop one day.

📖 Storyline: tbh not even sure there is one in this game , everything is so muddled up where the start of the game scene is actually like in season 2 lol and then you have a boss fight in the park where its supposed to be the crab man but instead you have a massive transgender dude in a thong and has a whip and in high heels no less (oh dudes completely pink as well)............?????

Recommended to me by a cultured homie. Didn't expect the story to be good.
CONCEPT: 8.5/10
GRAPHICS: 6-8.5/10(6 cuz outpost sucks, for chibi, 3D models are quite ok)
SOUNDS: 9.5/10(Pretty good)
PLAYABILITY: 4.5/10(MOBILE. this is self torture)
ENTERTAINMENT: 9.5/10(pretty fun, events are fun. April fool event was Amazing. Please put voice acting in events!)
+ Good story(pretty unexpected, it's prob because the story telling and voice acting are good)

not as good as I thought
When I payed this for only 30 minutes it looked like it would be a fun open world metrovania type of RPG but the more I played of it the more I dislike it. To start with your character is super weak and dies easy. So you can't even get more then a few screens into the game before it feels like you need to stay close to camp and grind before venturing too far into the game and the other problem is when fighting I couldn't see when I was being attacked so I could try to take evasive actions. In fact it seemed my hit points would be going down when it looked like I was laying into the bad guy and kicking there butt. This stuff really ruined what I was hopeful was going to be a hidden gem. But it is not just not worth it. I had to come and change this review from glowing to this to not mislead others who might read this.
