Positive Bits:
First things first: This game is a love letter to the series. Faithful to the art style, packed with references, and even has Saitama one-shotting dudes just like he should.
Feels like they actually get the humour and tone, which is rare for anime adaptations.
The gameplay's pretty solid: Think WoW or DCUO with a One Punch Man twist. Hotkey combos, building teams for synergy, timing your attacks - there's actually some depth here for those who want it. But if you just wanna button mash and see Genos blast some fools, that's cool too.
The world's open and fun to explore: Different cities, side missions, the whole shebang. It's not groundbreaking, but it's a nice change of pace from the usual linear levels.
Now, the not-so-punchy bits:
Tutorial's a slog: Yeah, I get it, gotta teach the noobs. But man, it drags on. Felt like I was stuck in Hero training forever.
Pacing can be wonky: One minute you're blasting Deep Sea King with Genos, and the next you're training with some C-listers I don't even remember.
Summoning System: It seems to be a bit of a sore point. The rates for acquiring SSR characters are deemed low, making it challenging to fully max out characters.
Despite this, the game offers an array of activities, including quests, achievements, and an expansive shop.
Overall: Despite the rough patches, One Punch Man: World is shaping up to be the One Punch Man game we deserve. It's got the action, the humour, and the surprisingly deep gameplay.
If they can tighten up the pacing and smooth out the tutorial, this could be a real knockout.
Verdict: 7 out of 10 for now. Needs more boldness and less hand-holding, but definitely has potential.

๐ฅOne Punch Man is finally out, and I played it again. I played the beta test a few months back and it was interesting to see if much had changed if at all, and surprisingly there was a big change quite early in the game. Other than that though, the game was pretty much the same. The quality being top tier and the action being awesome as always.
