Chapter 1: Miss Conch
Miss Conch is the daughter of the river god. She is the apple of her father's eye. She used to be obedient as a child, but as she grew up she developed a will of her own. Whenever her father asked her to do housework, Miss Conch would just blow bubbles. When Miss Conch became old enough to marry, her father tried to marry her off to a wealthy crab. She winded up hitting the crab with a starfish to drive him away. Next, the river god tried to marry her off to a knowledgeable turtle. Miss Conch just slipped back into her shell until the turtle's patience wore out. Finally, when the river god tried to marry Conch off to a brave crocodile, Conch ran away from home and went to the nearby reef. While she was angrily muttering to herself, a fisherman picked her up from the reef...
Chapter 2: Fisherman's Difficulty
Frightened by the fisherman, Miss Conch immediately hid inside her shell. Having never seen such a beautiful conch before, the fisherman carefully took Conch home and placed Conch into a fish tank. Conch was so afraid of the fisherman that she would make sure that he was gone before coming out. Looking at the shabbiness of the fisherman's belongings made her uncomfortable. Thankfully, the fish tank she lived in was clean - otherwise, she would've left a long time ago.
In his free time, the fisherman liked to tell Miss Conch about his experiences. Bit by bit, Conch learned that the fisherman and his family all depended on the river for survival. They thought of themselves as the river god's children. Every year, they would sacrifice pigs and sheep to him. They made sure to not overfish, but no matter what they did, the river god never seemed to be satisfied. The amount of fish they caught dwindled each year. And so, the fisherman winded up being too poor to think about marriage...
Chapter 3: Conch and Fisherman
Over time, Conch lost her fear of the fisherman. Instead, she felt empathy for him - both of them were at the mercy of the selfish river god, who never cared for others besides himself. Even worse, the god cared more about matchmaking than the fisherman and his family. As a result, Conch decided to help the fisherman with his housework after he left.
The fisherman was surprised to find that his house was always clean whenever he came home. Wanting to find out who it was, the fisherman pretended to leave and then hid himself. When he found out that the conch in his home was actually a lovely girl, he chose to not confront her. Conch might've had her own reasons for not telling the fisherman. It would be better to pretend he didn't know about it. After all, having Miss Conch as his helper was a good enough gift already. The fisherman was satisfied with the status quo...
Chapter 4: River God's Rage
Just like that, Conch and the fisherman lived together quietly. The fisherman didn't boast about his life with Miss Conch, and Miss Conch didn't mind his poverty. Both of them lived lives of simplicity and happiness.
However, the river god was worried about Conch's disappearance - he'd looked everywhere and even asked Triton, the king of the sea, for help. Triton told the god that Miss Conch had probably eloped with a human, just like his own daughter had. Angered by the thought, the river god burst the banks and flooded the fisherman's village. Even sacrificing livestock couldn't stop him. The only thing Miss Conch could do was save the people from drowning by wrapping them in her bubbles until the river god came to take her home...
Chapter 5: River God's Repentance
Miss Conch had been sulking in her shell ever since the river god brought her home. She was disappointed in her father because not only had he ignored the people's respect and needs, but he had also put them at risk. With a smile on his face, the river god explained that the people weren't worthy of him since their desire for more was insatiable. After all, the amount of children the people would have equaled the number of stars in the sky, but Miss Conch was his only daughter. Miss Conch sneered at him and said, "For generations, they have been treating you like their father, but you were too self-absorbed to care. If you continue to ignore them, you will soon lose the only daughter you have!"
These words made the river god reflect on his actions. Ashamed of his behavior, the river god allowed his daughter to return to the village and help rebuild their houses. The river god changed his attitude and has been working to help the people ever since.
I'd have given it 5 stars but I really don't like that the speech boxes auto scroll. It makes it a bit hard to catch all the dialog for someone who reads slow.

So far, so good! I normally don't enjoy games that have so many purchase options as it forces a player to compromise on what they can get for money, but so far I haven't needed to pay for anything to get further in the game. That might change as I play more, but so far its enjoyable and fun!

Although the main story isnt too interesting, and some of the character designs are a bit...familiar, I really enjoy the game! Some designs and character backgrounds are really nice. I look forward to more skins and events in the future.
