It's a regular trend, not for every game or developer, but it is quite prevalent to see an IP released or, in some cases, revived after many years of silence when everything being shown should have been properly planned before its release. Dragons Dogma 2 feels rushed, or, for lack of a better term, Early Access.
There are numerous game-breaking elements that you may encounter, such as being banned for erasing your save file to start over (which is uncommon but can happen), as well as a large number of bugs and frustrating features that will likely get under your skin if you're not familiar with the original game and all it's "Unique" aspects.
I became so frustrated with the endurance, storage, and pawn system, just as I had been with the original, that I couldn't take it any longer and used cheats to finish the game quickly so I could move on to better things rather than dealing with it!
