After sparking discussions due to its explicit fanservice elements, Wuthering Waves has now officially received a 16+ rating on both Playstore and PlayStation Store.
This rating certainly feels like a more reasonable move, considering the game's content — especially in terms of character design and animations — has been quite bold from the start.
With this age rating in place, the previously controversial fanservice content now feels more "Acceptable" and aligned with designated age restriction.
Do you think this 16+ rating is appropriate enough for Wuthering Waves?
Can't deny some other games haven't really got this deserving move— but it's a good start. All the more reason to also make the gameplay focusing on skills and strategy executed by the player. I guess, for me at least, it is inevitable for marketing strategy and pleasing. Knowing the gaming community is starting to thrive these days, just like other aspects, it can be controlled but it will stay as precautionary. 📈
