I believe this game should've never been priced over $40 for how linear and a shell of a game it is. It's just sad to see all the AAA industry going faster and faster in this direction. Purely for the money, no love behind this game because that how it felt for me. If you really want to try this game out for yourself, wait for  a sale or get a key that is under $30 or better $20. There's no world I can get isekai'd in where I'd change my mind, either.

Forspoken does not deserve the hate. In todays video I go over all my gripes with the game while also sharing what I enjoy about the game. You heard me right, do NOT buy Forspoken for now! From the first 2 hours of gameplay, this game seems dreadful! With poor optimization, bad voice acting, AWFUL GRAPHICS that are nothing like the trailer shows, and the absolutely ridiculos price of 80$ for the base game and 105$ for the deluxe edition, this is just an utter scam and a full-on robbery of the customer! Nothing surprising, another AAA turned out to be nothing like you'd expect, besides a disappointment. Though, something really special about this game is that the price is the same as the main character would price itself, way too overvalued. That's one of the main reasons this game is simply souless, with only the intent of taking its innocent customer's money. But let me elaborate.  First of the reasons I'm saying this it's because if you want to play on PC you need at least another $1600 to get an RTX 4090 to be able to play this at 60fps, and even then that's not guaranteed, and don't worry if you have an older graphics card you "might" be able to play this game in 720p30fps

You can watch more reviews on My YouTube Forspoken follows the journey of Frey, a young New Yorker transported to the beautiful and cruel land of Athia. In search of a way home, Frey must use her newfound magical abilities to traverse sprawling landscapes and battle monstrous creatures. I have no problems with the MC or the dialogue. The combat and the world seem extremely fun. I do have two major issues with the game on PC. The first is the bad optimization. That should get worked out in patches soon. The other issue is the game needs more neutral world npc's. Everything outside the city wants to fight. And that is actually fine but you feel lonely and uninspired that way. Maybe in the future, they can patch the open world with more life.

MY OVERALL SCORE 7/10 Game starts off amazing then quickly falls off once the "character" cuff is introduced into the game. The constant switch from gameplay to cut scene hurts the experience at the beginning. You go from 30-45 seconds of gameplay to then a cut scene. This continues back and fourth for the first 2-3 hours. Frey soon learns this beautiful land once flourished under the reign of benevolent matriarchs, called Tantas, until a devastating blight relentlessly corrupted everything it touched. The Break transformed animals into beasts, men into monsters, and rich landscapes into four dangerous realms. At the center of their shattered domains, the Tantas now rule as maddened and evil sorceresses.

Forspoken is a game that starts off amazing then quickly falls off. At the beginning we learn about the main character Frey's back story. This part is both emotional and intriguing. Gameplay is slim at the start and only has you moving Frey throughout New York. The graphics and atmosphere and environment is so well done. You really feel like you are in New York during the holidays and wintertime. The game is heavily story driven but this is also its greatest problem.   The story is amazing at the beginning but once the "character" cuff is brought into the game everything goes downhill from there.
