If you’ve been searching for a microtransaction-free alternative to Diablo Immortal or are craving some old-school hack-and-slash action, Titan Quest: Ultimate Edition deserves a closer look. While this action-RPG definitely shows its age, it’s an addictive game that runs perfectly on mobile. I had a ton of fun fighting my way through hordes of monsters, picking up piles of loot, and building a character that was a perfect fit for my playstyle.

This game is truly free-to-play. What I mean is that you can play into the endgame and beyond without ever being nudged into spending on microtransactions unlike so many other big names in the ARPG genre where mtx is shoved right into your face cough cough Diablo Immortal cough cough Torchlight . Eternium also has cross progression so you can play on PC and mobile. The game has couple hundred hours worth of content. Feel free to disagree with me but the gameplay loop felt pretty solid and game content, builds and equipment are plentiful. Will keep you busy for a long while.

The issue at hand pertains to the repeated adaptations for mobile, without addressing fundamental concerns such as unreliable controls and frequent crashes. In my opinion, the developers lacked foresight when they attempted to adapt a complex and extensive game to a smaller device without adequately considering the numerous spells and powers available, which were significantly reduced in number.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat's gameplay loop is kept mostly intact from the original games. If they didn’t they would be shaming the Devil May Cry label, which pioneered the hack’n’slash genre as we know it today. The levels you tackle are filled with a variety of enemies, light platforming, and the occasional boss enemy to spice things up. As renowned demon slayers, Dante and his allies have access to deadly rapid attacks, powerful ultimates, and each other. You build up your combo rank by racking up damage with attacks and switching between characters.

It has a distinct and different character, but it goes towards the path of convergence and similarity between it and other games, for example, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Wuthering Waves 👋 I, myself, loved it. 

The game's got that kinda-old schoolish vibe. A little bit goofy but badass. The graphics are pleasing and combat's not bad for an ARPG.

** Game is shutting down 15/11/24** Diablo immortal too p2w? Torchlight infinite too...weird? Undecember too... Serious? Welp, this one hits right the spot for a cool mobile arpg. The skill system is right, no too simple nor too complicated. The combat is fast, "maps" only in 3 min (there's a time limit, so only 3 minutes or less and your out). Good rng with items, good level of mechanics that let you make a "build" without too much thinkig, free respecs and the monetization is there, but not going to give you power, like in the 3 mentioned arpg.

The Mythic Goldfish is a throwable item that deals impressive damage to the player's target. I run a small IT consultant firm, and for the past 6 years we have been working with startups, medium clients and big clients. BUT, my dream is to run a indie studio, creating games that players love to play. So we took a gamble... All the money we have earned from our consultant business we put into setting up a small indie studio to develop games about a year ago. We realeased two test games to teach the team about mobile development and for the past 6 months we have been working on our first "real" game. Monkey King - Legend of Heroes. Since I love the lore of Sun Wukong, I knew I wanted to make a game with him as the main character. So we created a semi-idle RPG game with a mix of Tower Defense into it. You play as Sun Wukong and you summon the Chinese Zodiacs as Heroes to help you  rid the land of Zombies. What do you think, did I make the right decision following my heart or should I kept the profitable consultant business?

Although the game has been optimized for mobile devices, it is plagued by numerous issues such as frequent crashes, malfunctioning menus, unreliable walking controls, and getting stuck on item drops during combat, which requires repositioning to attack creatures. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the difficulty has been significantly reduced. Playing ARPG games can be challenging, especially when attempting to do it on mobile devices.

Firstly, Solo Leveling Arise is one of the most solid and compact mobile games I've seen this year. 👍 Pros: The 🎮 Gameplay: is very fluid and refreshing it also has unique and serious features. Fights against bosses are not generic or all the same it has a more AAA game feel with likeness to open world games and varying dialogues and mechanics which make it special.
