Love and Deepspace was released on January 18, 2024. And in the past two days, I've played the game in anticipation due to the featured 5-star - Xavier card. When the game was being advertised, I've seen a lot of things. The game is in 3D and each characters are worked out, giving a huge upgrade for other otome games that stick to 2D art. The art style is also realistic, complementing the 3D-ness of the game. SHOULD YOU PLAY LOVE AND DEEPSPACE? Play it if you like dating sims and don’t mind a little bit of combat. Love and Deepspace is a 3D sci-fi epic that mixes dating sim mechanics with real-time action-RPG battles, but based on my experiences, the game definitely emphasizes love over action. I ran into some minor issues during my playthrough, but my experience was really positive overall. The game looks fantastic and the love interests are all extremely charming. Although the gameplay may get more challenging as you continue to later chapters ( especially when upgrading the memories ), it is manageable if you have the money ( its to support the gamemasters which sadly, I don't have...). But don't worry, cause patience and time can also help while playing the game. 'Cause like seriously, apart from the 'pay for better play', the trials and hunts still need weeks of dedication (like for the stamina/ grinding for EXPs...). I believe this type of gameplay may especially be loved by those who like combat systems (auto-play, upgrading, gacha, etc.). Additionally, I love that the players will be given gems on their B-day: that's a plus for me. There's also individual events for each love interest's B-day (I'm currently looking forward for Rafayel's which is on March 1). Finally, I literally love watching stories/dramas with lovers who have crossed space & time just to meet again (like I've watched dozens of CN dramas with these tropes) - there are clues on every interaction about this. I don't know much about otome games but i think this was the only one I saw LOCALLY available ON 3D so... another plus for me!

Given that I am male and that this game is not marketed toward me, my experience was unique. I respect the effort that went into developing this and can't help but feel a little envious.

The high-quality 3D graphics in Love and Deepspace are truly impressive and add to the overall immersive experience of the game. The captivating story immediately drew me in, and I found myself easily invested in the characters and their journeys. The main characters, such as Xavier, Zayne, and Rafayel, are absolutely charming and worth every moment of gameplay. 💯

Overall, I greatly enjoyed my experience in Love and Deepspace. This game truly surprised me. The graphics are jaw droppingly gorgeous, almost reminds me of Final Fantasy style visual fidelity, and then the combat was so much fun. I especially like how the game will swap from vertical to landscape gameplay when you get into combat. The first person story was engaging and I loved how not only could you pick the voice and customize it to your liking in the character creator, but your voice was present in the cinematics. While it won't show up in the gameplay chat, the in game cinematics will have them, which I thought was really cool. While otome games are not usually my focus, this game was so much fun that I think I will definitely play this once it releases in February 2024. I will be eagerly awaiting this release.
