Hello, gaming enthusiasts! Today, I will be reviewing a science-fiction adventure game titled "Minds Beneath Us." Developed by BearBone Studio and set to release on PC, this game is rich in storytelling. Let's delve into the exciting pros and cons of this game. Pros: 🌆 Unique Design and Visuals: The game's design is quite impressive. The 2D characters moving in a 3D space offer fantastic visuals. The city and backgrounds, based on Taipei, appear more detailed than the characters, immersing players in the scenery.

✨Overview Minds Beneath Us is an upcoming story-rich sci-fi thriller and an interactive adventure game set in a futuristic Asian city. The game explores a society fully automated with AI, with a focus on dialogue choices, relationship dynamics, and immersive storytelling, Minds Beneath Us promises a unique gaming experience.  I just played the demo, and while short, offers a glimpse into the game's huge potential, showcasing a compelling narrative and a visually stunning world.

SHOULD I PLAY MINDS BENEATH US? This is definitely one to check out if you’re interested in adventure games or cyberpunk stories. Minds Beneath Us is a modern, more down-to-earth spin on Ghost in the Shell. It’s set a couple decades in the future in an unnamed city in Asia where AI controls many aspects of daily lives and shadowy agencies use data ghosts to possess targets and spy on their enemies. It’s stylish and atmospheric, and the story had me hooked right away—even though I found some of the pixel-hunting a bit tedious.

It's been a while since I've read an interactive visual novel. You can act to your set environment as well as choose your response! Very refreshing based on my experience! Here are my thoughts... Pros: - Good setting and story - SFX is really good - Puzzles were demonstrated - A lot, lot more (looking forward to its development and release) Cons: - for some reason, I can't adjust the refresh rate of the game in the settings. Unlimited FPS is unnecessary for this type of game.

Minds Beneath Us is a story-driven, sci-fi thriller where your choice as the player matters. It expertly combines gorgeous hand-drawn 2D sprites with exquisitely crafted 3D environments. Controls are super simple. You navigate side to side, interact with certain things to find more info, and use your mouse to find objects of interest in your environment. And all these things tie into the game’s story.

Ultimately, it’s a charming game with huge potential to be one of the better narrative indie games out there once it comes out. I do hope it doesn't take so long that I forget about the game entirely.

On mobile, I couldn't do some of the features required to progress, like space bar, or tab. I was basically being beaten over and over.

This game looks very good with the graphism and three 2D spectrum. I don't like 2D often but when it's well done that can be very beautiful. If you already love 2D games go ahead and try this!

TapTaps' new service, enables users to transmit DEMOs directly to their mobile devices from a virtual computer rather than directly installing them and taking up space, it's very intuitive but the functionality that is currently being implemented here just doesn't seem to function well because it's a PC game being streamed to Mobile.
