WooooW Before I first played this game, I thought it was a pixel action RPG. But it's a game with great puzzle elements. It's a game that challenges your spirit and has elements that drive players crazy!!! While some UI elements don't clearly reveal their touchscreen roots, Dungeons of Dreadrock is a well-designed adventure that continues to surprise you with its tricky puzzles and engaging atmosphere.

If you look at some of the games I’ve reviewed for TapTap, it’s no secret that I’m a role-playing game fanatic. There’s not much I love more than going on an epic journey, upgrading my gear, and leveling up to take on ever-more-powerful foes. But I also recognize why some people get pushed away from the RPG genre: These games tend to be all about abstraction. A character’s health and well-being are abstracted into hit points; the power of an attack is determined by a (usually invisible) die roll; even the way conversations play out sometimes comes down to stat comparisons. Does this character believe what you’re saying? Let’s check your charisma stat.

When you first see this game, you may think it is very ordinary, just a retro style dungeon crawling game. Actually, Dungeons of Dreadrock is a pretty well-plotted puzzle game. This game has almost 100 levels and each level is designed differently. This makes me very impressed. The only weapon a girl has is a knife, and each level has unknown traps in addition to the threat of monsters. You can also see tributes to other games, such as Zelda and Shovel Knight. Just be prepared to die and try again until the success.

its a very good game, each level is different from the other and i like how you can go back a level to coordinate it with the level you're currently in. it's definitely a genre i absolutely love, but i cant seem to find a lot of it while searching for a game. i love the way the protagonist risks her life for her brother, even staring right into the dead king's eyes– she didn't falter. good for her!

Honestly the single best mobile game I have ever had the privilege of playing. The kind of 'difficulty slider' with how often you are offered hints makes the game highly customizable, especially since you can make it easier if you hit a rough patch of levels. The simplistic design and easy controls make for a great pickup or sit down experience. There were enough new enemies to keep it interesting, but not enough to overwhelm. The dialogue was witty and dripping with meta. It's incredibly clear to me how much work went into this game. I could go on for three times what I've already written, but the best thing to do isjust play the game yourself. 10/1

DoD, or whatever you call it is just fine. I mean, it's probably not as good as some of the big names, but if only talking about the gaming experience itself, it's classic, nice and smooth. If you want some tast of your childhood or just wanna chill on the sofa for a couple hours, it is def your choice. The game get revenue by ads which is skippable, and it's not too bad from my personal experiences (tho I bought the pass anyways)

you should try this game if you like pixelgame even the dialogue in this game funny story is good enough so try it

I started playing Dungeons of Dreadrock with an expectation that it would be just another pixel-art dungeon crawler game, but it turned out to be a completely different experience (in a positive way). The atmosphere, music, and the story narration accompanied with an amazing voice-over are perfectly complementing the story which is also very well written! For a long time I didn't get this feeling of surprise while playing a small indie game. Although it's not exactly small - there are around 100 levels in this game and each level has a unique puzzle to solve. Some of these puzzles made me feel really smart whenever I managed to figure it out by myself. The game forces you to think outside of the box right from the start and the first 10 levels have one of the most intuitive and seemless tutorial sections in my opinion.

I almost deleted this game the second I opened it because of this. ⬇️ But then I realized that maybe the dev did this on purpose because we actually got a female protagonist here. I also found an interview with the dev Christoph Minnameir on creating a female lead. It's interesting to read although I don't really like some of the interview questions. Back to Dungeons of Dreadrock. The game itself is a nostalgic adventure game full of well-designed puzzles. I really like the voiceovers and the bold black font.

One of my favorite puzzle game on mobile. The puzzles are great, the narratives are good, and I really love the pixel art style. Very creative puzzle design. And it can be pretty challenging, I even got stuck a lot of times. There is also a "hint" feature for those with skill issue or those with little patience. So, if you think the game is too hard for you, no worries.. you can still solve it and enjoy the story.

if you're looking for that offline puzzle mystery game   then this is your game has 100 levels in total a good story line you can even play it with a Xbox controller honestly it was a great past time player

The story, graphics, characters, music, lighting and so on are very cool and the gameplay is very enjoyable, it doesn't even waste a lot of energy playing this game but just gives a little intelligence in us to solve the puzzle to puzzle. Moreover, the presence of voice acting that sounds thin like a whisper or the voice of the heart adds a suitable impression, it can be a representative for the story line, such as when you are discovering something, reading riddles and so on, of course, because the background in this game is dungeon exploration, it adds a sense of compatibility with the use of style. at the acting level.

I enjoy ed the first few levels without ads. Then they come after every level, which is fairly often since the levels are pretty easy. Definitely recommend to try and see if you want the full game, the free version had too many ads for me

the game truly did give that old school Zelda vibe, the puzzles were fun to solve even if I died more than 100times trying to solve them! The ending was great, and the boss fight was easy but in a satisfying way. The whole aesthetic of the game was just phenomenal! 10/10!
