Once Human is NetEase's new weird survival sandbox game, which was first revealed at NetEase Connect 2022. "Weird" is a fiction genre that can be dated back to the late 19th century. It is a subgenre of fantasy, supernatural and horror fiction. Edgar Allan Poe is often considered the pioneering author of weird fiction. The game takes place 30 years after the fall of civilisation. Back then, a mysterious door opened, and tonnes of Stardust billowed through and polluted the world. In its wake, hordes of monsters were created and wreaked havoc across the globe. All is not lost, though. A new hope for humanity called Beyonders emerges. These powerful beings are effectively humans with additional abilities that can hopefully fight back against the creatures.

**ONCE HUMAN BETA TEST 2.0 COMMING DECEMBER 7, 2023** Metas, We are excited to announce our next Closed Beta Test will be expected December 7th, 2023. Beta details we have so far. A new round of Closed Beta Testing for Once Human will begin December 7th in 2023 only on PC and aimed for 20,000 Beta testers. Since the first Beta, Dev team has been hard at work improving the graphics and the overall performance of the game. They have also added massive in-game content as well. More details to come in the upcoming weeks.
