Delivery From The Pain has to be one of the best indie games I have ever played. The initial cost is around $4 USD (currently on sale) available on google play or IOS store. The gameplay consists of you exploring areas in this post apocalyptic world filled with zombies. The game gives you a top-down view of the environment with tons of tiny details. The game also focuses on the stealth aspect causing you to sneak around the environments and attack zombies only at the most opportune times. The game was developed by just 7 people which took them 2 years to make. The beginning has you choose 1 of 2 starting characters. 1 is a male and the other a female both with different stats in skills.
The game also has big boss battles as well which are epic and exciting! The gameplay itself is great but by far the best part is the intriguing storyline and dialogue the characters have. The game features multiple different endings to the game with exciting plot twists. Even though there is no voice acting, the dialogue is well written, and you can really get a sense of the characters emotional state. The audio is well above average and delivers creepy background music with zombie sound effects that make you cringe in fear.
The survival aspect is in full effect with you having to manage your characters wellbeing. Crafting medical items to heal your wounds and finding food and water to keep your energy meter in good standings. You really feel that sense of urgency for trying to survive with a realistic approach. Overall, I highly recommend this game to just about anyone. Even if you don't like stealthy survival games, this one might change your mind it's just that good.
