I can’t be the only one that gets goosebumps every time a new Call of Duty update is announced, and the feeling hasn’t changed with the Season Three update of Warzone Mobile. Although, if you’re in the US like me, it’s only available to play via a VPN, I’ve still always appreciated how the game is consistently updated with feedback from the fans to produce a better product. With this new update, Warzone Mobile is becoming more promising with gameplay elements and general optimizations across devices. Here are five things I appreciated from the latest updates.
#1 User interface
Nothing pisses me off more than a cluttered home screen with a million things prompting your attention to click over. This is especially true if you’re new to an FPS like Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. It can be incredibly overwhelming just figuring out where to start! With the latest update, I appreciated how everything was simplified, organized, and made easier to find game modes.
#2 Perk packages and weapons
Loving the new perk packages they’ve introduced with this update. Specifically, the Deadeye package allows you to reload, use, and swap weapons faster, which of course, is perfect when I’m planning on annihilating my enemies with the two newly introduced weapons the FTAC siege pistol, a fully automatic gun that feels like a submachine gun or a tech 9 and the GS Magna which is also fully automatic.
#3 More gyroscope settings
If you’re unfamiliar with the gyroscope in COD Warzone Mobile, or in general, you’re missing out. Your smartphone has a sensor that makes it tell which angle it’s at. In COD, it makes it easier to adjust your viewpoint when playing on a mobile device. In this new update, there are more ways to change the sensitivity so that playing on your phone and adjusting the camera becomes easier. Perfect to go along with the new map updates that were also introduced.
#4 Vehicle customization and new events page!
On top of a more straightforward interface for customizing your vehicles, there are new weekly events where you can earn rewards like camouflage for your gun and goodies for the time played. It’s a great incentive to keep playing more Warzone for those not already sold.
#5 Graphics optimization
The most significant update is the overall look of the game. Graphics have improved, and if you take a before and after screenshot, it’s clear the update created a crisper look. There was a clear difference even on my iPhone 13, which isn’t exactly the newest version.
Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is currently only available in Norway, Sweden, Australia, and Chile, with a global release scheduled for later this year, but with the way things are looking by the time it’s available here in the US, we’re going to have a lot of great things to look forward to.
