AETHER GAZER IS HERE! TIME TO START! THE GACHA...IS IT WORTH IT?

Aether Gazer. Yeah, the gacha system is a huge letdown. Mostly inaccessible along with some pathetic drop rates - I still feel the pain in my heart every time I open the summon screen. I just can't with it anymore. But the combat? The combat though? IT'S. SO. GOOD. I've never had this much fun using a BOW character than any gacha game I've ever played. Using scythe-wielding characters just feels like a cheat code at this point, not to mention how elegant the attacks are. Well, that's also not to take away from the sword and heavysword lovers out there, but the bow is definitely my favorite weapon.

Personally my opinion is that Aether Gazer is a great side game. AG has shitpost meme events where you play subway surfers with Hermes, or space invaders with Hela, or even fishing for tradable jpegs. It's much more enjoyable opening the game every day and seeing what new minigame or puzzle there is to try than farming event bosses every day like in other gachas. Since the events and game modes are easy there also isn't much pressure to pull unless you like a character's design or gameplay. The only competitive or difficult (more tedious than difficult) aspect of the game is the roguelike mode that uses preset characters and there is no ranking rewards for that so you can almost completely ignore it outside of a quick low difficulty run for weekly missions. I think the game is performing and plays just fine for what they intended it to be, another game for the casual Azur Lane audience (Look it up if you don't know!).
