Neon Abyss Infinite is an absolute blast to play. This is by far a must play game. 2D Platforming is taken to another level with the exciting boss battles and 400+ items to collect. My favorite is the eggs that you find in the levels. The eggs follow you and after you defeat a certain number of enemies they hatch, and you get either a new pet with a unique effect or nothing. At one point I had about 10 eggs behind my character and the battles were straight mayhem. There are many different weapons for you to use including a cat that shoots bullets from its mouth. Everything in the game is just over the top fun and hilarious.
The controls are surprisingly easy to use and offer 2 different setups. For a 2D game the graphics are better than a lot of 3D games. The shadows and lighting are superb and often you forget its 2D. The reflection in the water adds so much depth to the environment. The levels and bosses are colorful and vibrant. The audio is above and beyond. The game features a full soundtrack that you can customize with most music being from the techno genre. The sound effects are extremely crisp and sound realistic.
The game also has multiplayer along with quests and many other features and game modes. I never felt bord or confused on what I should do. Everything is straight forward but exciting and flashy. I highly recommend this game for anyone to play even if you aren't a fan of 2D platformers. I think this game will definitely change your mind.
