Misty faced a daunting challenge when a rampaging Gyarados threatened her Cerulean Gym. Through a selfless act, Misty earned Gyarados' trust and calmed it down. This was a significant moment as Misty had been afraid of Gyarados since her childhood, when she had a traumatic encounter with one.
In a later battle with Ash's Pikachu, Misty Mega Evolved Gyarados into Mega Gyarados, showcasing their growth and power. Misty went from being afraid of Gyarados to train Gyarados the only one that has mega elvoved.
2. Politoed
Misty's journey took a cheerful turn when she encountered a friendly Poliwag. As a Poliwag, it was cheerful and helpful, but after evolving into Politoed, it became even more jubilant.
However, Politoed's habit of clapping, even in inappropriate situations or when being scolded, sometimes irritated Misty. Nonetheless, their bond grew stronger as they journeyed together.
3. Corsola
Determined to catch a Corsola, Misty restored harmony among a group of Corsola in Megi City. She caught a wild Corsola and welcomed its joyous personality to her team.
However, while Corsola possessed a powerful Tackle move, its enthusiastic nature sometimes led it to unintentionally bump into other Pokémon while trying to be friendly.
