In the history of Mortal Kombat, this description of one being broken like glass is undoubtedly one of the less violent In the series, and yet when it's read aloud, it certainly takes on a more gruesome element. Well, someone must have noticed this and included fully descriptive audio in the upcoming release, and if you doubt that narration can add an extra layer of brutality, look at the awesome video below.
Not only does this make Mortal Kombat 1 more accessible for the visually impaired, but it essentially makes this the audiobook we never knew we wanted but definitely deserved! I can only imagine how much fun the writers had writing as many gory descriptions as possible! It seems like Mortal Kombat 1 is already starting the reboot right by making this game as accessible to as many people as possible. It's a trend I hope to see in other series, especially the ones with huge AAA budgets. Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19 for PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Mortal Kombat 1 promises a fresh new take on the classic formula while staying true to its roots. As a lapsed fan who hasn’t played any of the most recent batch of Mortal Kombat games, this soft reboot made me feel as giddy as I did when I first encountered the gory series as a child.
