The best parts of Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends in one optimized game

The best parts of Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends in one optimized game

2K View2023-09-20
Blood Strike is one of the latest FPS games I’ve started playing and it’s fantastic. The game combines the best parts of Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends, all in one accessible and optimized format. While that does mean it’s a clone, Blood Strike is one of the few titles I’d recommend to anyone for its performance and capability to run on almost any mobile device.
With how advanced games and phones are getting, it’s hard to keep up with the market. Even I had to change my phone last year to run FPS games, but Blood Strike solves that problem. Thanks to the game’s low-spec requirements and low-quality graphics, running Blood Strike is an easy task. I thought this optimization was the game’s best feature and one of the main reasons to play it.

Blood Strike doesn’t really achieve anything else beyond providing players with a game that can run smoothly on almost any device—which I have to repeat, is still a massive achievement. The game itself is a mix of Warzone’s gameplay where I dropped into an island, found loot and weapons, killed people, and tried to survive. Like Warzone, I could also customize weapons in the menu and request them with in-game resources in a match. The other half of Blood Strike is also similar to Apex Legends where I picked a unique character with abilities from a list of nine (only six were already available, the other three were locked) that suited my play style or team composition.
Now, if you’ve never played any of these games, Blood Strike might be really appealing. But coming from someone who’s played both games for hundreds of hours, Blood Strike’s gameplay doesn’t really impress. It’s great, but it’s nothing special. I personally wouldn’t continue playing Blood Strike, mainly because I’d rather just play Warzone or Apex Legends instead. While the optimization feature allows players to enjoy an amazing FPS game on any mobile device, that's really all it brings to the table.

A middle ground between Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends | Soft Launch Review - Blood Strike
Blood Strike is a fast-paced battle royale FPS designed with high-octane action in mind. It draws inspiration from popular titles like COD: Warzone and Apex Legends and aims to provide an engaging experience while also prioritizing optimization for lower-end devices. Remarkably, the game maintains a compact installation size, occupying only roughly 1GB. The game was recently soft-launched in Brazil for Android devices on September 15th, 2023, in an invite-only state. Notably, the game isn't strictly region-locked; anyone with an invite code can access it without the need for a VPN. Alternatively, players can choose to overcome in-game challenges for a chance to gain access. Want an access code? Continue reading this review and you’ll find the codes hidden somewhere. Is Blood Strike really worth it?
So, Project Blood Strike has released in Latin America, Soft launch for now... But... is it really worth the time playing it? Well, easy answer: Yes. Blood Strike is a fast paced game so you need to react fast, feature that even Call of Duty Mobile itself doesn't have. Then we have the chill community, I joined the Discord Server and they were pretty chill, thing that in CoD... well, doesn't exists at all. Now, on the top of all pros, THE GRAPHICS: what can I even say? They are pretty mid, but it's because the game's focus is Performance, not Graphics like almost every other game. This game runs on a flawlessly 120 FPS on ULTRA Graphics.
