WARZONE: MOBILE NEWS & UPDATE

WARZONE: MOBILE NEWS & UPDATE

7K View2023-11-30
Whenever a new major Call of Duty title is released each year on PC & consoles there is a general shift from the previous game’s progression paths to those of the newest game. This community update today is all about preparing you for those changes coming in the next major in-game update for Warzone Mobile (WZM).
That in-game update is currently planned to be released next week and we’ll have the usual patch notes then, but for now let’s go over everything related to cross-progression, ranks, unlocks, and the Arsenal Store.
✴️PROGRESSION SHIFT✴️
With the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (MWIII) in early November, there will be a progression shift to that game's new rank in this next major update for Warzone Mobile. This means your Warzone Mobile rank (profile level) will now reflect and mirror your MWIII rank. You will have an opportunity to begin a new Call of Duty journey with fresh unlocks to snag! There is a whole new line of progression-based rewards made up of cosmetics and base weapons to earn from MWIII. Here are the basics about this process:
•**If you already playing MWIII**, then your MWIII profile progress will sync to WZM in this next update and overwrite your previous profile level
•**If you are not already playing MWIII**, then your profile progress will restart to allow you to start earning new unlocks on this fresh progression path full of MWIII items
✴️CROSS-PROGRESSION✴️
On top of your rank switching over to the new system and progression track, **cross-progression** will also be enabled for Modern Warfare III as of this next update and all weapons and operators you own will Carry Forward from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (MWII), Warzone, or Warzone Mobile to Modern Warfare III. Here are the general details:
•All previously unlocked MWII weapons and operators be accessible in MWIII & WZM
•All previously unlocked MWII weapon Camos will Carry Forward into MWIII & WZM
•Newly acquired weapons, camos, and operators from MWIII will now be accessible in WZM
•**If you are still playing Modern Warfare II (MWII)**, please note that cross-progression is no longer enabled between MWII and Warzone Mobile
•Many killstreaks, pieces of equipment, and field upgrades do not carry over to MWIII & WZM
**What doesn’t carry over? **Some vehicle skins, tactical equipment skins, lethal equipment skins, and similar may not carry over depending on if there are MWIII equivalent items. Additionally, all MWII tactical equipment, lethal equipment, field upgrades, and killstreaks will not be immediately available. However, we will have a way to earn some items and gear from MWIII through a brand-new feature.
🆕 NEW FEATURE - ARSENAL STORE 🆕
The Arsenal Store is essentially an all-in-one shop only in Warzone Mobile where all players can unlock weapons, gear, and equipment previously released in MWII and brand-new ones from MWIII. Just by playing Warzone Mobile you’ll earn Arsenal Coins, which can then be used to unlock weapons and gear in the store. These can be earned via existing free mechanics such as Events, Daily Challenges, leveling up.
What can be unlocked via the Warzone Mobile Arsenal Store:
➡️ Any MWIII weapon earned outside of profile progression/rank unlocks
➡️ Previously released MWII weapons
➡️ Previously released MWII killstreaks, field upgrades, and equipment
The screenshot is an early work in progress of the Arsenal Store, but you'll see an updated version in the new in-game update next week
New killstreaks, field upgrades, event items, and equipment in MWIII that are released outside of the progression unlocks may not be available through the Arsenal Store. However, this feature is brand new and may expand in future updates to include more unlockables.
The Arsenal Store is a way to expand on cross-progression and gear availability between Warzone Mobile, MWIII, and Warzone.
