The beautiful archaeologist will look for any clue to find her mother
š Storyline: After discovering that her mother is not dead, but trapped in an unknown place, her father's studies on the island of Avalon come to her aid, but traces soon appear on her path that have little to do with British legends, and which are based on Nordic mythology.
š® Gameplay: The plot is told exclusively through textual dialogues between Lara and her friends but the settings are the same as the PS2 & PS3 version, just as the pitfalls that the protagonist will face in both the 3D and 2D versions are very similar, this the last one was created to meet the needs of those who owned a terminal less accustomed to polygonal graphics.Ā In its 3D version, the game is heavily constrained which does not allow Lara to perform certain movements: movement within the locations is pre-established, while the 2D version is free to go anywhere.Ā The 2D mobile version presents itself in a decidedly more pleasant and accessible way, in the form of a classic platformer in which you have to find the exit from the stages mainly by climbing.Ā Controlling Lara is very simple and intuitive, with a good number of actions that can be performed, interspersed among other things with the same puzzles that distinguish the 3D version for consoles.
š¹ļø Controls: We will often find chasms to jump (button 5) as well as walls to climb, sometimes in time, to access temples, all based on reflections.Ā There is no shortage of enemies, represented by unidentified humanoid monsters: Here it will be enough to press the "zero" button which will bring out the guns and with an automatic aiming system will allow us to hit them without too many problems.Ā The energy bar, located at the top of the screen, is emptied depending on the damage we suffer and can only be restored by collecting the medical kits scattered along the stages.Ā Much of the time is spent locating the doors to open and collecting the relevant keys.
š Personal conclusions: Having completed the PS2, PS3 and PS3 Trilogy versions at the time, I believe that the 2D version, which was playable on Nokia (Symbian 5Th), things were decidedly better: Lara's sprite was well drawn and had very fluid animations including the locations that they appeared decidedly more refined, with greater attention to detail.

Completely agree, the 2D version worked surprisingly well on Nokia.
