Long download times, debatedly dated 2d graphics and a bunch of OP characters you aren't sure are worth paying for but credit where credit is due: ads aren't F2P. Promos are throwbacks to the good old days of legit DLCs rather than today's 7 day random login games and the depth and length is Epic

Graphics seem unappealing at first but this is deeper than any 4x roguelike games on Android. If you pay it stops being a roguelike but then the whole faction opens up. Yeah there's the grand space strategy sequel but this is the game to get if you are on potato smartphones and aren'ta 24 hour gamer

The gameplay is not for everyone but compared to all the other 1984 games on Steam the presentation for this game for a mobile game is top notch. Yeah the game, as played, is annoying but it's a throwback to games like Akuji, Gex and ShadowMan. Not as Action but dark but not quite Soul Reaver lore.

Every list needs a multiplayer game I guess and PGR is tops. It's not pure console free (it mimics the loot box type gameplay seen in modern hyped games) but if you haven't heard the hype behind this game you should try it. The only reason why it's not 5/5 for me is that it takes a lot of invrstment

Kairosoft games are great in general but this is the grand daddy that started it all and for good reason. It's not free free (there are other Kairosoft games that experimented with those) but unless you list all the Kairosoft games this has to be it.

Lots of great games following these types of defense fortress like the Walking Dead ones and FF ones, my personal fave is Nexus War but this has the most unintrusive skippable intro. Yeah for pure free animal based collection sims the Ants one is probably more unique but this us no slouch either.
