As someone unfamiliar with the Persona 5 series, I was eager to try out this mobile game because of its frequent appearance on my recommendation list and its reputation for exceptional artistry.
First impressions are important to me. Firstly, the game lacks a mandatory beginner's tutorial; instead, it smoothly guides the player, allowing for a quick grasp of the core functionality and game structure. Secondly, the game maintains the classic art style of the series. The UI design is refined yet uncluttered, with each interface meticulously crafted, including exquisite 2D displays on settlement screens.
The game features a variety of progression systems and illustrations, including character levels, awakenings, weapons, masks and more. This complexity can be overwhelming at first. But you can try The Fire Team, has considerable power, while the Curse Team (featuring Joker and the Chinese character Ling) is also formidable.
Also, be prepared for the exploration tug-of-war. The maps and dungeons provided at each level offer substantial content, requiring patience for thorough exploration.
Finally, the game's extensive content requires a lots RAM and can cause crashes, even if I use the emulator. Players should also be aware of potential overheating issues when playing on mobile.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a role-playing game with turn-based combat, slice of life elements, and an anime-inspired art style. A mobile spin-off of the mainline game Persona 5, it takes us back to Japan and reintroduces us to the Phantom Thieves with a brand new protagonist and fresh roster of characters. It is catered more to the mobile platform market — a first in the series, and is now currently in beta (Android) available for China. A PC version is also available for testing, it is a full-on game client and not an emulated Android version.

The style and basic gameplay of the original game are preserved, while the graphics have been brushed up, and the user experience and presentation optimized for smartphone users. SEGA and ATLUS‘ P-Studio are supervising development and providing resources, while Perfect World Games and Black Wings Game Studio will develop, distribute, and operate the title. While it is based on the world of Persona 5, it is being developed as a new game tailored to local user preferences, trends, and gameplay environments. The protagonist and his Persona were designed by ATLUS art team’s Shigenori Soejima. The game is focused on the theme of “desire,” and tells the story of students who have awakened to their “Personas,” facing difficulties together in an era of “low desire.” A mysterious old man with a long nose, a strange underwater room, an owl that can speak human language, and another world separate from reality—these seemingly unrelated things are all somehow connected.
