The name Dynasty Warriors is known by now throughout gaming for many years, the only reason i decided to play and review this game is because i have been playing these games on PC & Console for years.
This game is made by Nexon and is pretty much a standardized mobile version of the beloved franchise, filled with mobile gaming “magic”.
- As for the story it is something i wasn’t much interested or excited about, the gameplay portion of it is a map with different areas to “conquer” and you can gather resources, materials and loot as you progress through it.
- You might encounter some side quests and events along the way, some more difficult than others and finishing then will grant you nice rewards.
- Other aspect of the game include modes such as Daily Challenges where you can gain extra resources and material by completing challenges, Arena where you compete with other players and fight their teams of 3, Apex Martial Artist where you complete different floors in battle to progress and get higher to gain better rewards… among other modes and events to be unlocked as you progress.
• Your Team consists of Officers you gain mostly through the Gacha system (yes this is a Gacha game), they get stronger the more of the same unit you get and you upgrade them as you progress through the story and gain more resources to do it.
• each team consists of 3 officers that go into battle & do challenges and complete quests.
• You can upgrade your own castle to open new areas, shops and gain more resources as well.
• Research can also be done to give your officers passive stats and gain better advancements, training and equipment as you progress.
• The shops in these games are usually the same, filled with all manner of stuff you can purchase to “progress” faster and gain more power doing so.
• I’m not a fan of the paid aspect of gacha games but we can’t avoid having them in these games unfortunately, choose what you want to do on your own and play at your own risk.
Overall View & Opinion:
• This was not my first time playing Dynasty Warriors M, i tried it once when the game came out and it was a complete mess (not optimized and not fun), going back at it again i can see that the game has been improved a bit and optimized to run much better than before.
• I always fear recommending gacha games to people due to their influence, so play this one at your own risk, yes it is fun and but there are better games i believe, it is a good joy for fans of Dynasty Warriors.
