And if you're a fan of the Mario and Luigi series, you've probably been eagerly awaiting for this game. So which game i am taking about Mario and Luigi: Brothership.
Overview
Mario and Luigi: Brothership is the latest installment in the beloved Mario and Luigi RPG series, developed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Released on November 7, 2024, this game takes Mario and Luigi on a nautical adventure, exploring uncharted islands and facing new challenges. The game introduces fresh mechanics while retaining the charm and humor the series is known for.

Gameplay Mechanics
This game have a Blend of Old and New gameplay mechanics, The game stays true to its turn based combat roots but spices things up with some new features. This game comes with a Turn Based Combat but with a Twist, The core combat system remains engaging, with timed button presses enhancing attacks and defenses. The introduction of Battle Plugs adds depth, allowing players to customize abilities and strategies. However, some players felt that certain attacks lacked differentiation, making battles feel repetitive over time.
This game also have Puzzles and Exploration that old Mario games had, and Exploration is a significant aspect of super Mario games, with various islands offering unique themes and challenges. The game emphasizes puzzle solving, that required the brothers to use their abilities in tandem. While this cooperative mechanic is enjoyable, the pacing can be hindered by excessive backtracking and dialogue, stretching the adventure longer than necessary.
Game Sailing Mechanics not feel that good, this system is new addition in Super Mario games, allowing us to navigate between islands. Unfortunately, this mechanic feels underdeveloped and tedious, detracting from the overall experience.
How It Feels to Play
How it's feel fun you will Embark on a journey that evokes a mix of nostalgia and novelty. The vibrant visuals and whimsical music create an inviting atmosphere. However, the game's pacing issues and performance hiccups can dampen the excitement. Some players reported that the game takes around 10 hours to hit its stride, which might test the patience of those seeking immediate engagement.
Graphics & Sound
Graphics wish, Brothership is a great game. The art direction is reminiscent of classic Mario titles but with a modern flair. Each island is distinct, boasting colorful and imaginative designs. The soundtrack complements the visuals, offering tunes that are both catchy and atmospheric. However, performance issues, especially when playing docked, can disrupt the immersion.
Story & Characters
This Game story is straightforward, focusing on themes of brotherhood and adventure. While the story doesn't break new ground, it delivers the humor and charm fans expect. Some critics felt the attempts at humor fell flat, and the overly chatty writing held the player's hand to a ridiculous degree.
Replayability & Game Modes
The game offers a substantial amount of content, with side quests and collectibles scattered across the islands. However, the extended playtime, clocking in around 60 hours for completionists, may feel bloated to some.  There are no additional game modes, so replayability hinges on the player's desire to revisit the story and challenges.
Pros & Cons
✅Game have Engaging Combat, The battle system is both fun and strategic, thanks to the introduction of Battle Plugs.
✅This game have Stunning graphics The game's art style is vibrant and appealing, bringing the world to life.

Rating: 7/10 ⭐
I am giving this game 7 ⭐ because of the problems this game have, Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a great game for the iconic duo, offering moments of joy and nostalgia. But because of, pacing issues, performance problems, and some underwhelming mechanics prevent it from reaching the heights of its predecessors. It's a solid entry that fans will appreciate, but it may not win over newcomers.
