It has changed this time around. Crystal of Atlan is essentially Genshin devoid of its constituent elements. There are no ridiculous mechanics that will force you to spend your life savings, and even if you did spend money, there is essentially no Pay to Win feature, particularly for PvP.

SIGN UP FOR THE BETA HERE You know that Genshin is not flawless. It is monotonous and feels unjust, both in terms of gameplay and from the standpoint of the developer towards the community. Although such games may initially appear enjoyable, they quickly devolve into unending grinds and incorporate predatory Gacha elements that fail to provide the player with much of a sense of reward. Crystal Atlan's trajectory appears to be favorable. It is Genshin, minus the tedious grinding, the Gacha, and the eventual incapacity to continue playing. You may continue playing indefinitely; however, your time is restricted by the story's progression. That is, you are permitted to continue enjoying all other content once your daily quota has been met. I really hope that they continue down this path.
