Honkai Star Rail is a turn based gaccha game developed  by Hoyoverse who I am sure your aware of as the developers of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact. Much like it's predecessor, Honkai Star Rail also released to critical acclaim and was near impossible to avoid from advertisements to friends talking about it all the time. Naturally I also tried the game when it launched but I didn't stick around with it for long.

To be honest I really enjoyed the story of this game, and it includes turn based games that I like.

I’ve played Genshin Impact for the past few years, so when I found out that the developers of that masterpiece were creating another game, I was obviously excited. Given the absolutely staggering success of Genshin Impact, it was impossible not to have gigantic expectations for Honkai: Star Rail. And wherever there are high expectations, there’s the possibility of failure. Honkai: Star Rail did not fail. After weeks of playing, it was clear to me that MiHoYo had pulled off something amazing by delivering yet another fantastic experience that transcends the realm of mobile and gacha game cash-ins.

The game is set in on a universal scale. When you strive to solve problems (or get caught in them) as you travel world to world. With a number of limited and as well as permanent events there's plenty of things you can experience.
