Soulgame’s Phantom Blade: Executioners is a title that’s in closed beta from August 18 to September 16. It’s described as a “kungfupunk” action-RPG, and this second beta test offers a new chapter, refundable microtransactions, two advanced career paths for The Chord character, and more. Phantom Blade’s gorgeous visuals are amplified by its use of Chinese artwork and its steampunk (or kungfupunk...?) vibe. Both of these elements fit in well with the game’s rather intriguing narrative—a dark tale of illicit magic and body modification where people choose power over their own well-being. As the story unfolded, I discovered the hidden truths behind the Sha-Chi Mod and encountered a bevy of curious characters. During this beta I also experienced a new story chapter titled “A Failure’s Redemption,” while familiarizing myself with The Chord character who plays a pipa (a Chinese lute) and also uses it as a weapon. She also has two advanced career paths and seems to be a game-changer because of how she approaches things on the battlefield with her largely ranged attacks.

SHOULD I PLAY PHANTOM BLADE: EXECUTIONERS? Absolutely play it. Phantom Blade: Executioners is a flashy action game that mixes the best elements of classic side-scrolling 2D brawlers—think Streets of Rage and Golden Axe—with a deep yet approachable combo-based fighting system that feels like something out of Devil May Cry. The result is a brilliantly fun, bite-sized title that’s worth some time even if you’re tired of gacha games.

the game is 2D, the story is good, but the controls are quite difficult, I like the graphics, and in this game you can use different combos for each character and there are also lots of combos that you can use, and in this game we  can also play 4 characters.  Overall I recommend playing this game, especially since this game only requires 4.61 GB of memory for me

Phantom Blade Executioners is FINALLY releasing! I cannot WAIT for this to come out. It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend this to everyone who loves martial arts style ARPG games!

A good game does not require several layers of components and gaming techniques to feel enjoyable. But rather a bit more depth for each feature. I can't get past the fact that the game expects you to farm for a long period in order to obtain an abundance of resources to upgrade your Gacha skills and equipment, while also dealing with an energy system that stops you from doing that effectively. You can purchase more with the in-game ingots to get energy, but those ingots are your sole free way to get summons when you run out of pulls, making it more time consuming than it really has to be. I'm alright with the desire for them to want compensation, but not that it's preventing you from playing with gated progression.

《影之刃：斷罪者》，一款2D橫向的黑暗武俠風格的動作遊戲。靠刀劍的碰撞，打造格鬥體驗！ 非常推薦喜歡武俠仙俠類或者刀劍格鬥的玩家們下載嘗試！ 武俠美學 我特別喜歡《影之刃》系列的美術風格。水墨但不是那種淡雅，而是還原黑暗、詭異的畫風，用略帶粗糙的筆鋒鉤勒出另一種武林。 地圖場景做的也有心，劇情彩蛋和支線任務會融入每一關的不同場景裡，所以每個場景可以細細留意一下，有沒有紫色的方向箭頭。 讓我覺得新奇的一點是，遊戲在戰鬥結束後，不會跳出明顯的戰鬥結束提示，反而是等一等，讓馬車跑到新的地圖裡。 劇情故事 故事的設定是玩家在一個怨氣生存的架空世界裡，這個世界充斥著因為殺氣而被改成的毫無人性的殺戮怪物。 主線劇情會有過場動畫。開局第一卷宗「奪命之愛」講了一個唐門叛徒的故事（最後我覺得這個男叛徒其實是個病嬌） 後續根據官方介紹，還有：峨眉慘案，紅葉鬼談，墜星劍斷… 這裡就不多劇透了，整體在劇情上，我覺得動畫的表現力還是不錯的，有武俠仙俠的味道。就是每個關卡的戰鬥會有些許割裂劇情的連貫性。
