The game is available for both mobile and PC platforms and features a unique monster breeding and crossbreeding system, as well as a diverse skill system and combat mechanics. The game is set on the island of Fort Lemuria, where strange animals called monsters live. The player takes on the role of Fina, a young girl who loves monsters and wants to reunite with Volzerk, the island guardian who disappeared 10 years ago. Along the way, the player meets other characters who join the Research Commission, an organization that investigates the island and the monsters.

This video is just the first part of the game including the intro story (very well animated) and one tutorial battle. Will be posting more at a later date as I don't have much time on my hands ;(. So played the game for a good 30 minutes so far and I am truly not disappointed and am proud to say that for once all the 5 star ratings on a game are real. Volzerk has an amazingly animated intro to the game which shows you the story plot of the game so you know what you're getting into and I gotta say as an anime lover (weeb) the animation of the cutscenese in this game is so well done so I tip my hat to the animators and developers of this game.

Early on, this game is a blast to play as you try to capture and see all of the different monsters that it has to offer. Later parts of the game make the enjoyment wain quite a bit. Would I come back to it? Probably not. Despite being so close to completing the game (Episode 9, Chapter 2), I found the difficulty spike to be less of a skill check and more of a numbers game. I foresaw this becoming increasingly an issue, so I figured it was as good a time to stop as any.

Volzerk is one of the few games that are really worth your time. It's a beautiful game but many failed to notice its potential. The concept is simple: catch, train and crossbreed monsters. The promised PVP function is never established because it was abandoned by devs five months after the game launched. It's very disappointing. Read more about it:

The graphics are impressive, even on low settings, showcasing the attention to detail in the game's design.

Its not that bad just aint great. Cute graphics and all is fine by me. But the story telling, tutorial and controller is just horrible. Its like mid development stage. Not even beta test. Play this only if you enjoy the pokemon MH vibe thingy.

I stream it earlier on The game itself is similar to MHW but in a very anime form. Storyline isn't finish yet so I can't really say much on the story. 👎 Cons: The graphic is something that's a bit bother for me. My phone can handle heavy graphic games on high settings with 60 fps (unless they dont have 60fps) The graphic on this game is not very.. optimized yet? I played it on high, it went from 60 fps to 10 fps, played it on medium, around 25 fps and on low around 60 fps which is strange.

The volzerk going to shutdown but I want to try it And its a better option after the genshin impact sized got to 30 gb for low end devices So bye bye haha

It has the same game features as an open-world Digimon game where you tame monsters and fight monsters to awaken the potential of each monster you have in the game, but I think the minigames within it will make it worthwhile. Alongside, I think the game is buggy since I get slight lags in between the courses of the game.

At first, I felt like watching an anime because of the length of the opening story. Many of the monsters look similar to some pokemon. It also has good animations, but sometimes it lags. And every fight they have a conversation that takes so long. A bit troublesome to control but I like the scenery -- It feels cool to the eyes.

Way too much negativity for this game and to be frank I know what's going on. YouTubers do their 15 minute gameplay review, say there's only 1 thing to do, and everyone just buys it. Let me provide a counter to a few 1 star reviews I have seen. There is only 1 gameplay loop. What? If you are progressing the first chapter of the story this is true. Very shortly into the game you unlock expeditions and the monster cup which is more than games like Disney mirrorverse have. Yet mirrorverse is universally praised for the gameplay. Not to mention the character building, min maxing, breeding sequences, collectathon etc is all available very early.

I didn't have high hopes for this game but still went ahead and gave it a shot. Let's start off with the storyline: reminiscent of the search for the 9 Dragon Balls in DBZ, we have Volzerk, a dragon that separated into 10 balls (1 of which was absorbed by our protagonist Fina and the others scattered across the island) after a great battle with another powerful Monster. Similar to the world of HxH, the island is an enticing mystery to humans from the ccontinent and so they send people to investigate and learn about the creatures that inhabit it.

In this game, the characters talk more than they fight, which is rather boring And the game takes a long time to open in order to play or read the story, so it is more boring, and the game is not long, but rather short
