Hi, I’m Garlic Sprout, the dev of Claws of Power.
It’s a single-lane, card-based strategy game where you spend dried fish to summon cats, they walk forward, and whoever destroys the enemy base first wins. On the surface it’s very simple, but a lot of the fun comes from timing, cost management, and how you mix units and items.
A few cats I personally use a lot:
Masashi (ninja cat) – when he meets the first enemy, he teleports behind them and keeps walking. He’s great for slipping past the frontline and going straight for the backline or even the base.
Garfield (shield cat) – carries a big shield and can block three hits. Very straightforward, but when you’re pushing or defending, he always ends up doing a lot of quiet work.
Nuba (ogre cat) – his attacks can stun, and if an enemy drops below a certain HP, he just eats them and heals. Anything that relies on “on death” effects really doesn’t like him.
Solo (bow cat) – my current “problem child” archer. His arrows pierce with damage falloff. The design is simple, but in real matches he turned out way stronger than I first expected, so I keep watching him instead of nerfing him immediately.
And some items that show up a lot in my ownbuilds:
Hold Position Whistle – makes your own units stop moving for a short time. Sounds useless at first, but it’s great for keepinglow-HP survivors from one wave so they can merge into the next big push.
Charge Horn – the opposite: speeds your army up. Good for rushing to the frontline or closing the gap on ranged units before they get too many shots in.
Clockwork Mouse – sends a group of wind-up mice across the field, dragging the enemy formation away for a moment. If you press it at the right time, you often get a few free hits on their base.
People also ask a lot about mobile. There’s no official mobile version yet; right now I’m mainly updating the PC demo. But the demo is available through 3A Cloud Gaming, so
Android players can cloud-play it on their phones for a test run.
There’s also a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam if you want to check it out:

If you do try it and something feels fun or unbalanced, I’m very happy to hear it — I’m still tuning things as I go. 🐾
