Real history or myth?
Red Cliffs is often remembered as a battle won by fire alone.
But the deeper strategic story is more interesting than that. River position, timing, alliance coordination, and battlefield pressure all shaped what happened. Fire mattered, but it was not the whole battle.
That is one reason famous historical battles work so well in strategy games: the version most people remember is often simpler than the actual tactical problem.
