Arena Breakout is unique. Period. The game is so realistic that it may make you even smile (or mad) here and there, especially if you get one-shot from the back for not being careful enough while planning your next move.
Let’s take two steps back… The concept of the game is putting yourself and your equipment at risk by entering the battlefield in the hope of gathering better and better weapons and equipment. You need to be cautious though as if you die during the battle all of your stuff is gone and another player will have an evil smile while looting your body.
Before each game, you will need to wisely decide what type of equipment you will want to take with you as equipping your tier-5 armor with a fully customized M4A1 might not be the best idea if your goal is to perform an easy mission that doesn’t require heavy firearms.
Starting to understand? Let’s go a bit deeper…
There is a whole economy in the game as every single item, weapon part, and armor can be sold to others via the market. This allows you to transform all the looted items into equipment that suits your more. There is nothing such as “best weapon” in the game as it will depend on your playstyle and personal preferences which are the stats you want to max out.
Ohh... I forgot to mention that it’s not just about weapons… to survive on the battlefield you will need proper medical equipment with you and it doesn’t harm if you understand what type of medicine you need for different types of injuries.
Enough of preparation, let’s go and shoot some enemies… huh? Before you start shooting around you better understand who your enemies are. In this PVPVE game, you’ll face other players and also AI-controlled characters. On top, you will have to fight players who are disguised as bots since there is a game mode that allows you to enter the game with random (low-level) gear and thereby you have a chance to collect some stuff “for free” since you are not putting any of your equipment at risk.
Let me remind you that the game is very realistic which also applies to battles. You are wearing a helmet or any body armor but your legs and hands are not protected. This means that if your legs get a heavy attack with one of those “bam-bam” magazines that explore you’ll be having a hard time getting even to the next corner to hide.
Talking about magazines you have plenty to choose from and again you need to make sure you have the right ones in your backpack… I mean rig (vest) as if you have them in your backpack you won’t be able to reload during the fight as it would be pretty unrealistic to assume that your open your bag, search for the magazine, and reload within 2-3 seconds. No, you can’t do that, therefore always make sure to have them close to your hands.
