3K View2023-05-06Hey there, and thanks for tapping on my review of Moonlight Games, Gothic Zelda-like, Hunt The Night. A project I've had my eye on for quite some time, given it looked deliciously inspired by Bloodbourne. That said- was this action adventure derivative- or an artful homage?

Old-school Zelda meets Bloodborne in this challenging horror adventure - Hunt the Night Quick Review
PLAY IT OR SKIP IT?
Play it as long as you’re up for a challenge! Hunt the Night is an excellent action-adventure game in the top-down style of something like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, except with the combat filtered through the more hardcore leanings of Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Spanish developer Moonlight Games has crafted a complex, creepy, and altogether satisfactory experience that’s good enough to stand on its own, not just as an ode to past greats.

Nice shoot'em up to have a try!
Another game inspired by Vampire Survivors (and can tell it is also heavily influenced by 20 Minutes Till Dawn). Though there's actually nothing new, I do love the simple (and cute) art style and the control. Could have a try if you are a huge fan of shoot'em ups.

It's a Vampure slayer homage. I like it's own play style for what it is and the capability to stand out from our vampire slayer clones. The controls were a bit stiff in direction and movement but the skill abilities made up for what may have been a irritable experience. The game is lenient on life. Giving the player more time experience with it and grow accustomed to the mechanics and objectives. Nice, challenging and simple. Better control handling is the only issue. And 8x out of 10 I'll be a consistent player.
