Refactor is a pretty great tower defense and totally worth playing, but I still had a few complaints.
First, the tutorial. It's a lot. I was bored out of my mind by that much reading. The game doesn't allow you to simply play and have fun. It makes you read all the tutorial text, even then some of the stuff the character is explaining is pretty obvious, or that you could easily learn by yourself.
The build button has no comeback option, so I can't cancel it after touching it. Sometimes I didn't find good builds to build in that round, but I was forced for the game lack of a cancel button in this option.
It's also a shame that the game doesn't have any language options besides English (and Chinese, in the Steam version).
But the game it's simples and engaging. Even the tedious tutorial couldn't keep me from playing this satisfying strategy game.

Refactor is an upcoming Tower Defense Rougelike, yes you heard me right, TD Rougelike. So how good is it?
Gameplay
Admittedly I did not make it past the tutorial, I am becoming more and more like an IGN reviewer; However, from the gameplay I saw the gameplay is simple. You build defenses and infrastructure to defend against waves, with a fun mechanic wear you can manipulate how waves spawn with how you place turrets.

Thank you for your review~ We have received your feedback as well~ Regarding the tutorial, our game is indeed different from conventional tower defense games, as it requires players to design and extend the enemy's path right from the start, and elements such as the synthesis and reconstruction of defense towers are also different from other tower defense games. Initially, we designed simpler guidance, but later on, many players raised questions, so we had to split some tutorials into the difficulty levels. We will collect more feedback on the guidance section to determine if any simplifications can be made in the future. As for the build button without a return option, if you are referring to the initial stage of purchasing elemental defense towers, you can cancel the selection and return to the three-choice interface by clicking the "x" in the upper right corner of the module before confirming the placement with "√". Lastly, concerning the language issue, we are a very small development team, and we are indeed limited in language support. We hope to have the ability to provide more comprehensive language options in the future.
