When I first saw the game I felt nostalgic,like who don't remember contra right? Plus now we could play contra style in a battle royale way and that's what I had in my mind and jumped into the game.
It have an amazing graphics and simple controls but that's all it have it.
1- Super laggy
2- The character controls are not really on peak
3- Weapon controls are awful
4- Frame drops
I really like the fact that the devs wanna give a some real good play but this game isn't really ready yet. It needs a lot of work on gameplay,maps,controls,motions,voice overs and the objects in the map especially.
Best what I liked.
1-There was a huge machine in the BR mode just like back then where we had to hit the certain parts to get prizes.
2-The graphics are actually good.
Those who still wanna enjoy the contra in BR mode can hop on and give it a try.

Contra is back and has all of the things you love about battle royale
Contra is back! Although, if you were expecting the classic side scroller, you'll be slightly disappointed. Contra: Tournament is a battle royale more reminiscent of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and PUBG Mobile than it is of the classic arcade shooter. With that said, this new rendition of Contra brings everything I loved about those battle royales; 100-player battles, massive maps, cool guns, and boss challenges with an awesome Contra skin.

The game is decent but the loading may take long. But the guns and characters are very cool. I recommend Contra Returns.
